I began working in the Deanery in October 2013 having had a long standing interest in medical education. I am Manchester born and bred, and apart from a few years in Liverpool, where I went to medical school, I have remained in the North West.
As Associate Postgraduate Dean in the Deanery I have a few areas of responsibility –
Lead Associate Dean with responsibility to the North Western Deanery School of Surgery and the surgical specialties including core surgical training within the School.
Graduated from the University of Manchester with a MBChB (Honours) degree in 1996. Attained MRCP UK in 2000 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London (FRCP) in 2011. Specialised in Nephrology and developed a sub-specialty interest in Lupus Nephritis.
