Rory McGill

Dr Rory McGill is a Consultant in Public Health based in Cheshire and Merseyside. Rory is an Associate Postgraduate Dean at NHSE NW with portfolio responsibility for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Through this portfolio he co-leads the Allyship Network and Strategic Oversight Group, giving trainees leadership opportunities to contribute to positive change in the NHS. His passion is health inequalities and how to mitigate against the wider determinants of health. His aim through the EDI portfolio is to both contribute to strategic change in the NHS as well as help those who work in the NHS gain the skills and experience to contribute to making the NHS a more accepting and safer space to work and train within.
