I am a Geriatrician at Bolton, though unusual in that I was a trainee GP (now called GP registrars) in Cheetham Hill before this, being one of only two hospital seniors I know who passed the MRCGP examination.
I have been an Associate Dean since 2011 and in that role have a special interest in Careers, I lead on issues around less than full time training and am involved in managing doctors in difficulty level in Speciality training.
Having been born in Bury, schooled in Bolton and being a lifelong fan of Burnley FC I was pleased to return to the region from Yorkshire to take up my post as Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Tameside Hospital in 1998.
