What to bring to Interview

 

If you are having difficulty providing proof of your address/identity you may find the additional information from the DirectGov website located here helpful.

 

You will be required to bring all your original documents and photocopies (A4) of each document for the HEE team representatives to retain as outlined below. An ‘original’ document means ‘not a copy’. It does not necessarily mean the first document you were given. In each case, you need to bring your current or most recent document.

 

Documents highlighted in orange will not be applicable to all applicants. If they are applicable to you, please ensure that you bring them with you.

Please provide this if you do not have full GMC Registration. Please bring a translated version, if applicable.

Original postgraduate qualification / membership exam certificate

Original proof of England Language proficiency

If applicable. This could be your IELTS or OET certificate, evidence your primary medical degree was taught in English or a letter/testimonial from a consultant/educational or clinical supervisor

CT1/ST1 Specialties: Original proof of Foundation Competences

This could be evidence you are currently in Foundation training, your FACD5.2 or the Alternative Certificate

ST3 Medical Specialties: Evidence that you are sitting MRCP Part II and PACES ahead fo the start date for your post if you do not yet hold full MRCP.

This could be an email receipt confirming you have a place to sit these exams. If you already hold full MRCP then you will need to provide evidence of this.

 Please remember to read your interview invitation clearly for any other required documentation.

During the Interview

Please ensure that your portfolio/evidence folder or other associated documents do not include any Patient Identifiable Data. Any patient identifiable information found at interview will be removed and the matter will be escalated to the lead clinical at the interview/selection centre. The matter may also be referred to the applicants’ employer.

The North-West team will reimburse expenses for the following national recruitment programmes: Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Restorative Dentistry, Special Care Dentistry. We will also reimburse expenses for ACF and local specialty recruitment.

 

Please read before submitting your expense form. Please include the specialty and level you have applied for on the expenses claim form.

There is plenty of free parking, and the stadium is just 500 yards from Junction 6 of the M61.
It is also a 5 minute walk from Horwich Parkway Train Station.
