Course Title: Scientific Research and Research methodology


1 day - 6 CPD points or 6 hours of learning


Course Aims:
Scientific research process refers to the work or steps which are to be followed while conducting research. Such processes help to carry forward while conducting research. Such process helps to carry forward the research work and draw conclusions.
This programme helps delegates to understand the process, design experiments to test hypothesis and draw conclusions.
It is very inter-active with delegates working on their own ideas.


Agenda:
• Defining Problem and Research.
• Ways to identify the issues
• Creating Hypothesis. Making concise and clear statements to outline the main idea or purpose of your scientific research.
• Design Experiment. Creating ideas to test theories
• Collecting Data
• Qualitative Method.
• Quantitative Method.
• Mixed Methods
• Reviewing literature
• Analyse Data.
• Drawing Conclusions.


Learning Objectives:
By the end of the programme delegates will be able to:
➢ Understand 3 ways to help define the problem through creative thinking
➢ Developing 4 clear goals for the project
➢ Explain 4 ways to collect data and source
➢ Determine 3 ways to analyse data and conclusions
