Leadership Development Tools

Health Education North West has developed tools to help you focus and reflect on your leadership skills. The following leadership development tools were originally designed for use by trainees on the Medical Leadership Fellowship programme, but have since been developed for use by all trainees, GPs, Consultants, SASG and other post CCT doctors. If you are a trainee, you can use the tools and attach to your portfolio. Similarly, GPs, Consultants and other post CCT doctors can attach the tools to your revalidation portfolio. Some of the tools may also be relevant for use by non-medical colleagues.

The ability to record and demonstrate competence in leadership is crucial as all speciality curriculums move towards including components of the MLC.
