Born in South Wales, I attended St Andrews and Manchester Universities, graduating in 1990. I completed GP training in Blackpool and worked as a GP in the area for 30 years before retiring from clinical work in 2022. I have worked extensively in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and was previously TPD for Blackpool. In my Associate Dean role, I support International Medical Graduates and the Health Equity Focused Training in the North West.
I love both rugby and football and support Wales and Liverpool! I also enjoy choral singing.
