NHS England – North West has a lead employer who employs medical and dental trainees across Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside. Services provided by the lead employer include recruitment, payroll, employment, Occupational Health and other HR services.

The Lead Employer for NHS England – North West is Mersey and West Lancashire (MWL) Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (formerly St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust).
