Bio: 

Appointed to role of Deputy Postgraduate Dean for Primary Care from 2016 after a long career in medical education since 1992 in a variety of posts including course organiser, GP Tutor, Associate Dean and Head of GP School.  

From 1988 to 2022 worked as a GP Partner and GP Trainer in Wigan. 

Has held other roles within the NHS including Non-Executive Director of Wigan and Bolton Health Authority and Medical Audit Advisory Group chair.  

In the Primary Care Dean role co-chairs the national Primary Care Wider Workforce Programme Assurance Groups which also covers the Training Hub Programme.  

Now lives in the Lake District and enjoys fellwalking, gardening and football.
