North West Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery
There are two training programmes in the NHS England – North West region. Both pride themselves in excellent regional teaching and clinical programmes. They have a large number of dedicated trainers across all the hospitals.
Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery training in NHS England – North West is divided between two sectors and each have their own Training Programme Director. Please select one of the following for further information on each sector:

Following a pilot, run-though training in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery has been discontinued in England. Appointment to Trauma and orthopaedic surgery will be at ST3 only (except occasionally for Academic Clinical Fellows, see below).
