The North West School of Public Health will recruit around 5 new Specialty Registrars in 2014 from clinical and non clinical backgrounds.
The North West School is the largest specialty training school for public health outside of London. It is hosted by the Mersey Deanery. We train public health experts and leaders in PCTs, NHS hospitals, universities, health protection units and specialist environments such as the North West Cancer Intelligence Service.
In 2009, there were over 50 people in training across three North West zones, and we expect 15 people to graduate from the School over the next two years.
